Issue 12: "Happy Kitty Day"

Happy Kitty Day.

22nd and 23rd of May this year has been fun. On friday my idiotic boyfriend lured me unsuspectingly to level 1 of the first Engineering School block, where the lift opened to another bunch of idiots who yelled "Happy Birthday" so terribly I couldn't hear what they were saying.
.
The cake was strawberry shortcake @_@ from a bakery that sells Japanese desserts and pastries and nothing cheap D:

Strawberry Shortcake! TWO YEAR OLD KITTY.

A sight of heaven from hell D:

The kitty spent half the day on 23rd May in school conducting interviews. Then there was an awesome Judo training session where at the end the captain announced to everyone that it was my birthday and that after singing a song for me they would all get to redeem a free throw from me D: (thankfully none threw me @_@). Finally it was dinner with the kitty's brother at a french cuisine restaurant!

I want more desserts D:

Issue 11: "Last Day in the 1x Age Category"

This is it. The time has arrived.

The kitty is moving into the 2x age category in less than a day. It is saddening that it has yet to feel that sense of satisfaction that it has done something of achievement in its short yet long life.

What has she been doing with her life? D:

She does not fancy being an adult.

Goodbye youth, hello hell.

Kitty Press Issue 11: "Last Day in the 1x Age Category"

Kitty Status: Body pains from Judo and not really looking forward to being 20

Into the "senior citizen" category I go? D:

No you.

Issue 10: "Kitties are Aging!"

A cat's average lifespan is about 14 years.

A cat's maximum lifespan (domestic cat) is about 25 - 32 years.

The kitty can feel the end of the rope pulling as the kitty attended another Judo training today. How good it is to be young again @_@ The kitty had better start training up stamina and strength for better future randori (sparring) sessions. They can shorten your lifespan if you do not have enough stamina and strength to hold out till the end.

The dreadful "2x" approaches as the "19" slowly fades away.

Kitty Press Issue 10: "Kitties are Aging!"

Kitty Status: Bearing with occasional bones cracking and terrible hunger and thirst at 11.30pm @_@

Happy 20th Birthday Bunz. You're an adult now. Buy me cat food.

FOOD PLEASE D:

Issue 9: "Kitties Need Many SPARE TYRES!"

The kitty's MP supervisor asked us this the other day, "How many tyres does a car have?"

The kitty was the only one who answered "Five" while everyone else's answer was "Four".

Supervisor: That's right, a car normally has five tyres. Although they may not need it, drivers still carry the extra tyre everywhere they go without knowing when they would actually need it. This is the same with all of you. Although what you learn now you may not think would be applicable in the future, you may never know, some day you just might end up in a different path that requires skills you never thought you would ever use."

Kitty Press Issue 9: "Kitties Need Many SPARE TYRES!"

Kitty Status: Craving for a good massage and scratching, and lots of milk after Judo D:

Dear Owner, please buy me a scratching-post.

I shall work hard to get many spare tyres! Not spare tyres around the tummy =.=

Issue 8: "Say NO to Kitty Flu"

Swine flu is a serious issue worldwide. Swine flu is also a serious issue in Singapore.

But tell her WHY must we each have our OWN termometer in school?!

On monday, the kitty's school has set up temperature scanning locations for visitors to the school and those going into the library. Today, however, each individual school had its own scanning point around the entrance of the school. Naturally, Engineering School is the most awesome because we had a thermal scanner placed at the entrance and all we have to do is walk past, get a sticker and proceed on (other schools require students to queue up to manually take their temperatures >_>).

You might be wondering, "Why do we need our own termometers (brought to school every day) if we have such convenient facilities?"

Well, if you expected an answer from the kitty, she is sorry ._. She has no idea as to why that is either. All she knows is, termometers in pharmacies all around Singapore are currently sold out (the ones left are those selling for about $16.90).

The kitty had a total number of THREE temperature scans today. One during morning in school, one during afternoon in school, and the last was before entering the Judo dojo.

Kitty Status: In love with Judo and enjoying temperature scans.

DO HUMANS SUSPECT THE KITTY HAS THAT FLU THAT BADLY?

My body aches. Yay.
